HANAZONO Freestyle Series - Jib Session


The first competition of the HANAZONO Freestyle Series - Jib Session is on tomorrow, Sat Jan 21, 2011! Registration is from 8:00am to 9:00am, Entry is 3,000yen and open to skiers/snowboarders of all ages and abilities.
Finals start at 1:30pm, drop down to HANAZONO to watch some of the best local riders compete!

Entry fee2,000yen entry (On the day entry: 3,000yen subject to availability)
Entry requirementsYou must be able to safely ski/ride over boxes, rails etc. An insurance policy that covers ski/snowboard injuries is also required.

What you will need
  • Helmets are compulsory. (A limited number of rentals available on the day)
  • Entry forms must be signed by a parent or guardian if the competitor is a minor.
  • All competitors must read and sign a waiver on the day of the event. A valid insurance policy is required.
Event formatHeats are held in the “Jam format”- every skier/rider can take as many runs as time allows. The following numbers will advance to the finals.
1. 8 x Male snowboard
2. 4 x Male ski
3. 4 x Female ski/snowboard.
FinalsPrizes awarded to 1st ~3rd in each category.
Special prizes also awarded for the most stylish skier/riders.
Please note
  • Cancellations will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Entries will close once the max of 80 competitors is reached.
  • Entry forms must be signed by a parent or guardian if the competitor is a minor.
